As CTO I develop, analyze, and monitor the technology landscape for our company. I spearhead projects to advance and create profitable IP. My roles include technology integration, design, and manufacture of the products. I coordinate contractors for outsourcing necessary tasks to create the best possible working product. I also evaluate product efficiency, and make changes as needed to improve performance and meet consumer desires. It is my role to consistently research competitive technology, and monitor trends that would benefit the company.
Near Earth Autonomy focuses on making autonomuos flight commonplace and safe. During my time at NEA I experienced the rigor of industry standards pushing projects towards deadlines and deliverables. I worked on an autonomous indoor mapping project designing sensor packages for small UAVs as well as creating a complete simulation for testing the flight planning software in a virtual environment. I consistently drove the project forward and filled any role needed. This included mechanical design, computer programmer, electrical design, and flight operator during hardware experiments.
